Time to tear down the Wall

On the 26th of Dec, 2010, the Berlin wall in my kitchen just had to come down!  It has been on my mind since November.  I started at 0800 hours and finished the next morning at 0200 hours!  Oh what a mess but what a difference it makes.   

Moving day! Good bye Embrun, Hello Ottawa Valley!

Well, the big day has arrived.  The months of packing is over and it is now time to fill up the 16ft truck with all my boxes and then the big 26ft truck with all of the furniture.  Shannon travelled from Sudbury to give me a helping hand.  She is unbelievably strong and great!  Judy just finished her last treatment and despite all she tagged along and helped the best she could.   Thank God the movers were energetic.  Lots of stuff!  We started at 0700 hours that day and the last box was removed from the second truck  at 2245 hours. I am going to miss my home in Embrun.  I loved it there but a new chapter is about to begin; life on the lake. Oh, I have a feeling I will get over Embrun pretty quick!
